The Challenge
Stora Enso needed to detect foreign objects — metal bits, plastic, chemicals — on their production lines in real time. Manual inspection was inconsistent, slow, and could not provide the per-section measurement accuracy needed for targeted quality control in harsh industrial environments.
The Solution
AssetBook deployed AI-powered camera systems using AXIS Q1728 4K cameras running at 50fps, connected over 5G for mobility and reliability. The cameras stream to AssetBook AI HIVE for real-time analysis. IP68-rated housing protects the equipment in harsh environments. Environmental sensors monitor humidity and temperature alongside the visual inspection. Per-section measurement enables targeted quality control.
